The Rev. Dr. Preston T. Adams, III, founding and senior pastor of Amazing Grace Christian Church in Indianapolis will bring a word of inspiration to the gathering. Known for his work with marginalized populations — especially youth — Dr. Adams founded the “High-5 Movement,” a city-wide initiative that positively impacted thousands of elementary, middle- and high-school students in more than 45 Marion County schools. He also founded THRIVE Mentoring, a mentoring program in Indianapolis Public School #88, which serves about 100 3rd-6th grade boys.

In anticipation of the 2022 Offering of Letters, Bread-Indiana announces the annual Joint Offering of Letters Virtual Workshop Saturday, March 12, 2022, 10am - noon. In this workshop you will:
  • Get an update on the progress made in 2021.
  • Learn more about the Global Nutrition topic for our 2022 letters.
  • Receive tools to lead your congregation in this important advocacy effort.
  • Meet other Bread for the World advocates as we rally our congregations to call on our government leaders to end hunger in our time.
With the once-a-decade Farm Bill winding its way through committees now, we’ll also announce next steps designed to prepare Bread Indiana members to speak decisively when the Farm Bill hits Congress in 2023.
Zoom link will be sent to registered guests closer to the event.
